Cookie dough Protein bark

This recipe is essentially a deconstructed version of my protein balls, just with a little extra chocolate! But if you’ve made that before, you’ve made this too! Just a different form!

This recipe takes 5 minutes, start to finish, and could not be easier!

 

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup cashew butter (peanut butter works too, cashew just gives it a little bit more of a cookie dough taste!)

  • 3 Tbsp honey

  • 2.5 scoops (65g) vanilla protein powder (I use Iheartmacros or CleanSimpleEats — my code is AUBREY for both!)

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark both work, whatever you prefer!)

  • 60g (2 servings) m&ms! optional, but not really.

  • flake salt

 

Directions

  1. Combine honey and cashew butter in a microwave safe bowl.

  2. Microwave honey/cashew butter mixture for about 1 minute. This makes it much easier to combine!

  3. Whisk together quickly, then fold in protein powder. Your batter will be super thick!

  4. Roll/press batter onto a piece of wax paper and shape as you wish. I used a cookie sheet to help shape it into more of a rectangle!

  5. Microwave chocolate chips in 30 second increments until melted.

  6. Spread chocolate in a thin layer and add m&ms and flake salt on top!

  7. Freeze for about 30 minutes, and break apart!
